22-23 October 2010 – 1st INTERNATIONAL CONVECTION
MAL@MORE: “from psychoanalysis to neuroscience.
from real to virtual”
Ce.A.S., Centre for the high studies on Terrorism and Political Violence, in collaboration with University of Rome "La Sapienza", Scientific Park University Campus “Selva dei Pini” of Pomezia the IUN, International University Networks, and the Scientific Campus “Selva dei Pini”, are organising the I International Congress on Mal@more.
The Congress “Mal@more: from psychoanalysis to neuroscience, from real to virtual", will be held on the 22nd and the 23th of October 2010 at the “Selva dei Pini” Campus of Pomezia.
The mal@more project is the model of intervention through moments of awareness and training on issues relating to the abuse and violence against defenseless players, and moments of prevention and measures aimed at dysfunctional behavior of the conduct of those sex-offenders and those who enact abusive behaviors and bullies others. The malamore project aims to carry out an ongoing research to study and analyze the phenomena of abuse that involves the creation of a database that is constantly updated by researchers involved in the project.
The conference "The Mal@more from psychoanalysis to neuroscience, from real to virtual" is the realization of a first moment of confrontation between experts from seemigly distant fields of study. We believe that it is this diversity in the approach to the phenomena of violence that can foster a cultural exchange, essential in the academic world, where the multidisciplinary nature of knowledge and globalization have become a necessity.
The purpose of this conference is to address current issues concerning the phenomena of violence and abuse that are linked to power, analyzing not only
from the perspective of someone affected or which perpetuates the abuse, but also in terms of the relationship that is to be established between the two. The dynamic analysis of the relationship established must be tackled starting from the study of what are the actions and behavior of each individual, either from a sociological-politological both a psychological and psychiatric point of view.
