Official Presentation of the International University Network

The International University Network (IUN) paves on the awareness that only through sharing processes effective results can be achieved. Such awareness urged the creation of a network including the most qualified European academic and research professionals.

The IUN, which is also opened to other Institutions and has its coordination centre at the Scientific Park-University Campus of Pomezia, after only two months of activity, boasts about 15 Universities Europe-wide. The official presentation of the IUN to the National and International authorities will take place next January 29, during a press conference after which the signature of the agreements will follow.

IUN goals are specific knowledge improvement through knowhow-sharing, common research, post University courses and professor/students sharing. Furthermore, all relevant opportunities will be caught through the participation to EU funded programmes.

The activity will be carried out through an organizing secretariat at the Campus of Pomezia, a dedicated website, a mailing list of key persons who will be acting as University’s contact points and multiplying agents. The organizing secretariat shall also take care of the editing and dissemination of the scientific material produced by the network.

In such a framework, international congresses, seminars, and workshops of researchers designated by Universities are foreseen to stimulate a methodological scientific debate and to steer the work.
